Lorenzo Guarcello

Project manager and Researcher at International Labor Organization (ILO)

Lorenzo Guarcello is a researcher in the area of statistics and empirical analysis within the Research and Evaluation unit of ILO-FUNDAMENTALS. He was previously a researcher for the "Understanding Children's Work" (UCW) project, an inter-agency research initiative on child labour involving the International Labour Organization, UNICEF and the World Bank.  He serves as resource person in the capacity building trainings on child labour and forced labour organized by the ILO and takes a short course on child labour at the Master in Development Economics and International Cooperation (MESCI, University of Rome).

He received a B.A. in Statistics from the University of Palermo, Faculty of Economics, and a Master in Economics from the University of Salerno. His research interests include labour economics, household economics and development economics.​
